Ancient Oak
timbers reach
out to each
other like the
bows of an
upturned boat.
Even something
straight can
never really be
straight.
Everything is
unique and
individual as
age has worn
away every trace
of uniformity.
A Passion plant
shows the first
signs of spring
and will burst
with energy
soon, as it does
every year — not
that it was ever
intended — it
just happened.
Floppy dogs and
small hairy
ponies, gleaming
black stallions
and last years
turkey live in
harmony. Frogs,
newts and
spiders are
carefully
returned to
whence they
came.
The cider
orchard will
soon be
awakening from
its slumber and
will engulf the
mistletoe with
its fragrant
bouquet. No
longer will
there be a
reminder of the
season past. |
